We at HERC are excited to once again be participating in “Birdies for Charity”! This is a unique fundraising opportunity conducted in partnership with the Travelers Championship golf tournament being held this year from August 1-7, 2016 at the TPC River Highlands in Cromwell. This is a pledge-based fundraising program based on the total number of birdies (1-under par) shot by the PGA Tour professionals participating in the tournament.

HERC conducts the CHFA required 3-Hour Pre-Closing class every month. The classes are free-of-charge. The class curriculum provides an overview of the financial, legal and practical topics homebuyers need to understand during the purchasing process and prior to the closing of the loan.
HERC conducts Landlord Education Classes free-of-charge to purchasers of 2-4 family homes in Connecticut. This class is required for all purchasers of 2-4 unit multi-family homes financed by CHFA. The classes provide detailed information on the technical, financial and practical aspects of buying a multi-family house and the responsibilities of being a landlord.
